As written here (English version) there is a "minimalist download iso" on this site that can be used to run the emulator.

However many members on that site (at least 3, including me) can't find that iso on this site. What happened to that? And, when I run the emulator I get "An internal error occurred. 0x00000001". Is that normal when you don't have a disk?

Note: I am interested more in hacking the calculator than calculate, since I can make an emulator of fx-570ES (not plus) from fx-82ES, and also have emulators of the fx-570VN PLUS one.

Using IDA-Pro (I am not experienced at this so I don't know all functionalities of that), I found out that the last dll the program load is "idmmkb.dll" from Internet Download Manager. So perhaps that is because there is a missing DLL in my computer that prevent the software from running. So what is the system requirement for this program? Is that DLL on the disk?

You can get that dll from

What I want to say is not I don't have that dll, but it is very unusual when casio fx-es emulator require that dll. What I'm looking for is the iso.

As said here, it seems that we can't create an ISO illegally, and the disk contains the setup files downloaded from that tiplanet site (

 10:42:14 | D:\Setup\setup.exe | InstallShield v8.x Setup Module

, so the setup.exe file is in :\Setup\ ). So is there any legal one (provided by CASIO)? If not why someone in tiplanet said that?

There seems to be one person who successfully did that here and post on UCF here. They both link to this file, but unfortunately the link to the file is broken. The only place that seems to have any information about this is "fxesms.5d6d.com", but the forum is also not accessible now. By "Wayback Machine" it seems to rename to something like "fxesms.5d6d.net" (only one capture, also not accessible now). The Wayback Machine also not store the topic related to this so we can't see it.

------------------------------------

I think "An internal error occurred. 0x00000001" is normal since a person here get 0x00010001 when not inserting the CD.

------------------------------------

Anyone know about the history of the software, can you explain:

Why is the software "free trial", yet you still have to buy CD? (Or CASIO give the CD for free?)

That's not an illegal link. Both HP and Microsoft have directed me to that site when I've had dll problems.
