Hi,how could I extract the denominator of an expression in the program..I want to use the function of denominator extraction but i couldnt find it in the programing mode....

And how could I find the roots of an expression in programming?

which command do I?ve to use??

root(expression)
and to extract?

denominator(expression)

Well if i remember well there is a command called "den" to extract the denominator of a number (i dont have my AFX near me right now for search it).

For the roots, in the AFX you cant use commands of the CAS mode or algebra in a BASIC program...

Hi I couldn?t belive anyone can help me!!
I thought it was a simple thing...but now I realize that it?s not...

Basically what i want is...

ask for a function
take his denominator
find the roots
asign each root to a different variable
work with that variable
evaluate a limit with that root into a bigger expresion
show the result

any idea?it seams that the programming of the AFX is weaker than the CAS mode?
is that true..I mean there are things that we are allowed to do with the CAS,but not with the programming?
