BTW how long have you been programming for? As if you have just started, it's best to work on very simple progs.

as for your current problem try this as an example:
1->T 1->A 1->B Lbl 1 if T=1 Then Locate A,B,"*" Else Locate A,B,"*" Locate A,B," " EndIf Getkey->G if G=27 Then A+1->A Else If G=28 Then B-1->B Else if G=38 Then A-1->A Else if G=37 Then B+1->B Else If G=78 Then -T->T EndIf:Endif:Endif:EndIf:EndIf Goto 1

BTW: all you are doing for the enemy to die is to clear his square. so plotting a space over it will clear it.

i bought my link cable from there, and it works for both AFX and CFX calcs.
So, how long have you had your calc for?

Milton, when you start programming, just do everything logically using If Then Else IfEnd statements. Later on programming gets really annoying as there are some simple things that are nearly impossible to do. For that, I used casiokingdom's idea and copied other programs. Right now, I'm working on a Myst/Riven/Exile style RPG but I'm no good at drawing pictures. Where is the author of Deathtrap Dungeon?

i bought my adapter from charlie watson, there is a tick box on the order form.
And the cable and adapter works, well for me...besides, you can always return it if it is faulty. i think his home (office) is in Wembley.
