Has anyone seen an extension to Casio Basic that offers peek/poke? How about string variables?
Personally I don't care about additional graphic commands and such. Not really interested in Asm, especially as I don't want to have to sit at my desk to dig deep. I like to take the calc for coffee and explore the possibilities.
My start was on a Commodore 64 and that's primarily why I ask about peek/poke. I figure with that I can create any more advanced graphical structures I might want as well as get arround stack limitations.
(Currently I have an AFX 2.0, CFX9850g+, Fx 7400g+)

peek lets you "peek" at an address in memory to see its value, poke sets a value. IIRC this is the way you accessed certain things on the C64 that werent standard in BASIC. For example, you had to poke at a certain address to enable and control sound.

except for the classpad no casio has string capabilities, and not can do any low level programing in BASIC, you have to use ASM or C for that.
