Hi all!

Ok, so I've bought my new Cas fx9750G Plus :) I am doing good with it, and I'm doing my cable on next week but I've got a few questions:

1. Can you use only B&W pix or grayscales too?
2. If I d/l a game or prog for a cfx9850 (for example) is there any soft to convert is for the non-color calc (which otherwise is fully compatible) or should I write it? :)
3. What is casio assambler? It is possible on th 9x50 series too? A few links maybe?

Thanks! :)

I'll probably answer you in detail tonight (I'm studying now), since I love this type of questions, reminds me of the old good days. :)
But first you must read the FAQ/What Is ALGEBRA FX 2.0 pages on my site as they have answers to your last question.

im no expert in asm/c for the calc, but i can answer some of your questions:

1) grayscale is not possible on the CFX (FX9xxx)
2)asm/c programs are only possible on the AFX (Algebra FX) at this moment, they may be possible on the classpad, but im not sure.
3)there is some software to cjange colour pics to B&W if you open the .CAT file in casioCOM, then rightclick the image in casioCOM's explorer you can save it as a .BMP, then use paint to convert it to B&W, and re import it into casiocom and save it as a .CAT file.

having said that, imn prety sure there is a program that will do it for you.

hope this helps

PS: check out my site (link in sig) and look at the PC utils area, there might be somthing in there to help.

oh thats easy!

in casioCOM:
click File -> Settings
there is a check box that says "remove colour commands when transmitting" if that is ticked, then you can send colour progs without any editing

in FA123:
just send the prog, i think it automaticaly removes colour commands for non colout calcs, ive never had any problems
