I've been exploring the functions of my calculator and a few thoughts sprung to mind.

Can you draw a regular bargraph using only one list with the histogram function? With two you make list 1 the numbers, list two 1,2,3... and plot list two with frequency list one, start 1, pitch 1.

That guy was right about ghost bytes, type Dim Mat A in Run mode and see if you can delete the list it creates.

How does Dynamic graph store a whole screen in a few bytes?

How can you test if a number occurs in a recursion and which term it is?

Where and when would you use Conics???

Can you use the Days function in the financial menu in programs? (cheeky how it missed out 1900 and 2100... here's some trivia. Did you know leap years occur every 4 years, except not every 100 years, but still occur on 400 years, so 1900 isn't a leap year but 2000 is.)

Are there any economic functions?

have you tried drawing a bargraph, using the table function, generate a table with a formula and the draw the graph of it

and i cant delete List Ans on my CFx, tho i think i can on my AFX

===EDIT===

oh your not using a formula are you?

As a mod, myself and Andy are meant to help out with any questions raised....however, in this case i have no idea what you are talking about.

Can't you check with your maths teacher? Does the manual say anything about it. As you know, i have a CFX and have used it throughout yr11, and not once did i come across the kinds of things you mentioned. Don't worry about it. You do have a curious mind, don't you Genesis :D

btw did i tell you that i have dropped Economics in yr 12 as it's a burden. so i won't be able to talk to you about the sharemarket game in the future :(
oh..i forgot, did your teacher give you bad marks for your game result?

If your going to say my game is crap why don't you just shout it out and let the whole world know? EVERYONE, some text mode reaction test that's been overdone is better than a full 3D shoot-em up with teams, arenas, weapons, handicap, items. I just wanted to ask questions that aren't in the manual.

Histogram :
List1 = numbers =======> Data-List=List 1 ; Frequency = 1
List1 = numbers, List 2 = 1,2,3,... =======> Data-List=List 2 ; Frequency = List1

Start = it depends what you need
pitch = width of the classes

That guy was right about ghost bytes, type Dim Mat A in Run mode and see if you can delete the list it creates.

You can't delete the List Ans on the CFX, on the AFX : ClrList Ans
On the CFX you can reduce its size to 10.

How does Dynamic graph store a whole screen in a few bytes?

???? Dynamic graphs takes a VERY BIG place in the memory

How can you test if a number occurs in a recursion and which term it is?

I pass.

Where and when would you use Conics???

When you'll see the conics at school, to verify your solutions (parameter, vertex, focus, ...)

Can you use the Days function in the financial menu in programs? (cheeky how it missed out 1900 and 2100... here's some trivia. Did you know leap years occur every 4 years, except not every 100 years, but still occur on 400 years, so 1900 isn't a leap year but 2000 is.)

No you can't. Yes I knew.

Are there any economic functions?

Can you be more explicit ?

:huh: Genesis i think you misunderstood me.
when i wrote

i was asking about your sharemarket game result, you know the one from the start of the year? i didn't mean Sprite......if that's what you mean. And i don't think your game is crap....i played it a lot t school when i was testing it for you.

Thanks, Overlord.

I'm sorry CK, this is getting to be a big problem with me, I assume things too much, just like how I thought my calculator cable was broken. I didn't get bad marks, but didn't get good marks either (C+). Actually, it hindered my getting a top score but a managed to scrape an A. Sorry about what I said.

On a lighter note, happy Australia Day everyone!!!
