Hi Everybody!

I've just bought a Casio fx-6300G, and i don't know how to use it with the Comlex Nubers.
Can anyone help me with the COMPLEX NUMBERS on this fx-6300G.

Thanks!

On the AFX: <span class=Shift' /> [0]

And you can enter an imaginary part.

I don't know if the fx-6300G supports complex numbers, but if so, look out for a small "i" sign somewhere on the keyboard.

It's spelled "grateful"

To see if it can handle complex numbers and use them, just enter the real part, '+' and the square root of the co-efficient of 'i'. Even on CFX and AFX, all you can do is arithmetic with them.

WHY DOES e^i(pi)=1?!? I don't get it! How do you raise a number to a complex power???

e^(ipi)=-1 and not 1

e^(i*X) is defined as cos X + i*sin X = cis X

(and a^x = e^(ln a^x) = e^(x . ln a))

As far as I know, The FX-6300G doesn't have support for complex numbers :(

Certainly no mention of it in the manual.
