I have a cfx-9850 gb PLUS. Heres the problem:
In the MEM menu where u can delete stuff from other menus i have a permenant 20 beside List File. i have tried deleting from all the files but the 20 bytes wont go away. it really doesnt matter or make a difference to the calc (as its only 20 bytes) but i was wondering if it could be erased. its kind of annoying .

it the data in the List Ans
you can't delete it on the CFX, you can only reduce it to 10 by storing a List of 1 element in the List Ans
(nota : on the AFX do "ClrList Ans" to delete it)

it happens all the time to my calculator. Only way to truly get the 10 (20) bytes back is by performing the most horrible thing you can ever do to the calculator - a reset.

delete the list List Ans
The only way to delete this list is to go in the "LIST" mode (or "STAT") , to place the cursot on "List 1" (or another list) and to type " List Ans". Then delete the list that you just created and the list Ans will be deleted
