Hello, well, you can solve quadratic equation in CAS mode using "Solve(" command, how to use:

not personally....anyone heard of Larrys casio cables?
if you or anyone you know can solder, i would suggest making a cable, it isnt a difficult circuit to make, and there are instructions, PCB's etc available on my site.

btw: make sure you have the CAS mode in Complex mode to get the correct solutions all the time, plus only use x and y for variables in the equations, sometimes others can cause problems.
example:
solve(t^2+t+1=0)
should be input as
solve(x^2+x+1=0)
or you can do this and it should work
solve(t^2+t+1=0,t)
