it was mainly just a joke.

-but-
"basic" layout with lots of squares and "commercials for themselves" in my opinion. It's hard to tell and explain, but i kinda just felt the site was american when i saw the layout.

thats because our web design teachers suck... even those that are generally good teachers useually dont know the first thing about web design because they are just typing teachers that got drafted to do web classes too.

me and my artistic friend made our schools website, i did the code and he did the graphics, we got put on special assignment cause we were so far ahead of the class :) it was increadably cool and we even got interviewed for a local magizine that eventually used our main page as its cover for an issue. then we found out one of the other web teachers at the school was taking credit for our work and we were understandably pissed :profanity: ... when we graduated the first thing he did was replace our page with a very lame one he made. (that guy had something aginst my friend, they mutually hated each other even before this happend)

florida schools suck :banghead: i could tell similar horror stories all day about our tech teachers (quoting my web 2 teacher: dont use frames, frames arnt supported by most browsers.)

lol, man that sucks :lol2:
today i had to go fix the sound on a bunch of computers that "werent working" turns out that on 80% of them the speakers either were turned down or werent ever turned on  on the other ones, the system sound level was just turned down :( what a waste of time

me and my artistic friend made our schools website

i wouldnt be surprised if i had to do mine sometime, the only reason i'm not now is because for an assignment one of the classes has to do it.

i had teachers very similar to that, cept when i told him sonthing new that he didnt know wabout, the next day he would come back and inform the class that he has made a 'discovery', giving no credit to me or the other clever lad in the class (my best friend).

he really started to dislike me when i proved him wrong about layers on a web page! afterall, he had done webdesignb for ~7 years, and i had only done webdesign for 2 weeks!

oh and if you need any help or anything, just ask me too :)
