There is a "trick" you can use to package any variable into an eActivity though. You can then move it into FLASH.
Open up an eActivity and then open up the Variable Manager. Notice the folder named eAct.
Exit the eActivity application and open up the Main application. Now open up the Variable Manager again. The eAct folder is gone , but where did it go?
Each eActivity saves its own copy of the eAct folder. You can move anything, including pictures, and they will get saved with the eActivity. When you save the eActivity it saves everything into FLASH.
The downside is you can't have two open at the same time. If you load a new eActivity the contents of the old one is gone. Also it is easy to forget if you add or change something in this folder. If you add something and forget to save it, it will be blown away when you open up a new eActivity .
As far as compressing pictures, I could improve my BitEdit program so it will saves RLE (Run Length Encoded) compressed bitmaps.

Funny, I was thinking of the other way around. It would be great if I could use my keychain FLASH drive to add 128M to my ClassPad.it , will be great if i can use my CP , like a flash pen ,
so i can load circuitmaker files from my U

Hmm, CPZIP....so you'll do it?
I think this would be a great idea, but I don't have a lot of time to do something like this now. I'll put it towards the top of my list though
What would be really nice is if ANYTHING in the ClassPad could be compressed, and it just uncompressed it whenever you used it.

that kind of option would be great for MEM files and save files (which dont have to be accessed often)
