Are these CAS, ALGEBRA & TUTORIAL downloadable anywhere?
I couldn't justify the added expense of a FX-2.....

You have to launch the same file, but whit different arguments to launch the CAS, Algebra and TUTOR
You just have to run the joint2.exe (it is on drive F) with the arguments CAS, ALGEBRA or TUTORIAL (yeah just link it to the menu with Flashcom/FlashEditor/Flash100 ...or other thing that someone may create)
My first topic in this forum was about it, just read then you will get all the info tho turn your FX1.0 in one AFX 2.0

Note that using V1.00 of the CAS2 and ALG2 official but superceeded add-ins will work but lack the symbolic matrix functionality shown in the manual for FX-2
V1.01 of CAS2 and ALG2 do not work. CASIO must have placed a check system to ensure it only runs on the FX-2 model.
I wonder if there is any other way around this?

In my FX 1.0, the CAS ALGEBRA and TUTOR programs are in drive D, if I try to launch those programs from any explorer program, the calc crash, but if I launch the same programs from the CASIO main menu, ( fort that I just link one icon to each of those programs ), they works fine whiteout any limitation.
If I install the CAS2 and ALGEBRA2 those programs works fine too.
Probably you have the nearest CASIO ROM DOS version, I was advised ( by one CASIO employer ), that CASIO know what we are doing whit the FX 1.0 and FX 1.0 Plus, so they make ?drastic? changes in the ROM DOS of the FX 1.0 Plus, for what I know they don?t do anything in the FX 1.0 because this model was removed from the marked.
Since 2002 I never see again the FX 1.0 model, in one CASIO store I was informed that CASIO only sell de FX 1.0 Plus models.
Anyway did you try to launch those programs from the CASIO main menu?

If you succeed extracting your ROM content, compress it with WinRAR and send it to me at 2072 AT 2072productions dot com and I'll upload it with others ROMs

I think that the HP49g+ is far superior in all departments, however, I hate the keyboard and the CASIO is a great keyboard. If you could get the HP ROM into the casio calculator - now there's a winner!

Well, i have in my hands a Calc with this new ROM 1.05 (that is really a pain in the neck).
Is there any way to upload a previous rom into the calc?
I've been out for some time, so... is there anything new?
