Use Flash100 or FlashCom (I prefer FlashCom)
Or you can use Official CASIO Add-In Installer (Not recommanded, cuz its low speed)

thats ok Bob i just thought that you might like a cable, and now that you have an FX 1.0+ you can use it to do add-ins and so on

yeah. use Flash100. It is fast and easy to use.
It transfers drives within seconds.
And it is available in several languages.
And it runs on <{GNULINUX}>.
My current PC (2 connected together ) doesn'T seem to work with windowz
unless I reinstall it

You can't create new add-in executables with basic langage... You have to work in C/C++ or asm

i know. i wasnt making an addin. i was trying to compile flash100, and i got an error that had something about qmake...
i typed

Flash100 doesn't support COM2. SO I can't use it

Flash100 ? For me it worked fine.
What version of gcc (type: "gcc -v " at command prompt) and what <{GNULINUX}>
are you using?
