i prefered the old 'simple' design of casiocorner (when it was casiocorner.rpd.nl) but alas Yuri & Bas (im sure there was someone else) felt it was time to move on.... :(

there's basically two kinds of hackers: people that try to get places they shouldnt for the purposes of learning and just to have fun, these people arnt destructive like the ones that did that to casiocorner. id have no problem with somebody hacking a site i made as long as they didnt screw with anything, id even be greatful if they told me how to fix the hole :)

those hackers that did that to cc are just juvinile punks, the same kind of people that would have been doing graffiti just a few years ago... basically the scum of the earth.

yeah, i was going to post about it yesterday, when i found out. i tried to log on into the admin area, but it seems i have been deleted as an admin of Casio Corner. So we must just wait till Netforce returns.
btw. this has happenned recently, but not as severe. Netforce upgraded phpnuke but i don't think it helped.

on a side note, did you know that the original definition of a hacker was someone who would 'hack' open hardware sucha as printers and so on, to find out how they worked. a cracker, was the software equivilent. the definitions have become corrupt thats all.

having said that, all the hackers i know are nice people they will hackinto somewhere, and then send a mail to the admin telling them the weakness.

one hacker i know of is sort of a vigalanty, she eliminate all kinds of child porn sites, after sending the URL to the appropriate government place! (and i meant she! she is a brilliant computer user :) and a good friend of mine)

and i believe the current terms for good and bad hackers are white hat and black hat hackers... also, the term hacker and the original hakers all came out of MIT :)
