ok everyone, the cat can now come out of the bag :D
beta testing of the CPSDK has finally ended and Casio and Saltire are almost ready to provide the SDK to anyone that wants it

in the mean-time the SDK is no longer a secret and those of us that were involved in the beta testing can now freely discuss it :D , we can also now publically release Add-ins made durring the beta testing (i know there are some interesting ones out there).

this all means that i can finally open my mouth and talk about this stuff, so ask away!

(i suspect brian will have something to add here as well)

Ths good new is... the SDK has made it to the final stage and beta testing is over.

The bad news is.... it isn't available for download yet from CASIO's website.

A number of things need to happen before the SDK will be available for download. I don't know exactly what the process is at CASIO. It might need to go though a final testing phase. I'm sure it needs approval to get published on the website.

At least you can see the light at the end of the tunnel :D

there was quite a consperacy :)
everyone agreed not to talk about it in order to be apart of the program, and i had a pre-existing agreement ;)

if word had gotten out Casio might have scrapped the project, which was a good reason to keep quite :)

don't you think?

That's because he was sharing the secret with a group of people, which is not as tough as keeping the secret on his own. :)

Anyways, can I say congratulations? B) B)

well, the language is C++, so you'll need to know that, CP specific tutorials will be included with the SDK but you'll need a firm grasp of regular C++ first.

I have the concepts of objects oriented programmation, but i never understood them correctly, i had no did programs using that, so the better thing will be see little codes (starting with the famous hello world :P) of your programs guys :D.
