Can You Get An Arg Error On Fx-83ms?

Any help with this would be much appreciated. It's mentioned in the manual, but no idea if it is actually achievable.

I don't have an fx model but does it have a locate command? If so you could try a statement such as Locate -1,1,"Text". The -1 should give an arg error as it is outside the screen.

Alternatively you could try (if it has it) the Text command: Text -1,1,"Text". It should do the same.

If neither of those exist try a for loop and use: For 1->Mat A To 3. The first argument is supposed to be an integer value or at least the location of one, so that should work as well.

If none of this works or you don't have these functions then I hope somebody else here with an fx can help.

We're never happy. We want to be able to get all types of errors as well as knowing how to avoid them. The calculator unfortunately does not have any of the functions mentioned already, so the question is still open!
