Help Plz... Flash Ng (afx 2.0 Plus)

everytime i run my calculator it shows DATA ERROR with DIFFERENT NO every time
now its DATA ERROR 60 .... before DATA ERROR 4C
when i accessed the service menu.. and made a checkup.....
everything is OK
BUT THE FLASH IS NG...
my calc. is AFX. 2.0 PLUS
how can i repair it....
is it a software problem ? or hardware one ???
when i removed thebackup battery the calculator opened with no errors ...runs for mins...then errors apeared again...
any help will be appreciated

me that it was a hardware problem. In fact the soldering of the
flash chip was no too good and so they had to do it again.
Since then the calc ran fine.
Just send it in if you have still guarantee. It is the best way. Do only try to solder it yourself if you know what you#re doing. You'll loose warranty and if you fail even the calc ...

the calculator by the way is out of warranty now
so its useless now....id do anything to make it work!...or let it burn.....
by the way how do i intialize it ???

they just said the re-soldered some things and I assume that it was the flash.
if you want to initialize it you have to goe to the hidden test menu and do the "Whole Flash" Flash Test.
On next restart it shows an error (DATA ERROR 80 i believe) and then the flash will be initialized on pressing enter.
This is due to the fact that drive A (system) hast to be copied back from ROM for the calc to work.

In my region I bought a small "made in china" unit for $51 including the flux, its very handy and reliable.
