can anybody help i've just become the proud owner of a fx20 plus
but cannot work out if it is capable of "transposition of formula" i'm studying engineering and this would really help

As in rearranging and solving for a designated variable?.. yes:
In CAS mode:
SOLVE(f1,VAR)
Where f1 is your formula, and VAR is the variable you want to solve for (A~Z + r + theta)

if you dont define VAR X will become designated variable :)

managed to follow suggestions (replaced subject with x and transposition worked.
