Are 9850 programs compatible with the 9860? Are the 'color' commands ignored by the 9860?There will soon be games... for Western Australian students, the 9860 can be used in Tertiary Entrance Examinations from 2007 onwards!

However, what does it say if you try to open the file? Did you set your calculator model to FX-9860 ?

well, it should recognize them. After all this is supposed to be the native format for fa-124
However, what does it say if you try to open the file? Did you set your calculator model to FX-9860 ?
hay im new here and havent signed up yet but im having the same problem where the FX-9860g au wont accept some more complicated programs. i have found it runs most one color games and no color games. If a game does not work a message pops up saying memory error the i have found is delete all other programs and then it should work.
But i cant wait till some 1337 person makes games especially for the 9860. should take math classroom gaming experience to a new level

And give the exact line where the error occurs. Maybe they
changed some part of the syntax (like the view-window in CFX->AFX)
Also I do NOT think that the 9860 will be a 1337 calc. It will probably be only a basic calc. Since the ClassPad is quite attractive I would rather tendend to buying one of these if I had the money. (THough the SD slot of the 9860 is quite teasing

Till now nothing about it is know. Neither IF nor WHEN it appears.
IF it appears and IF it is really a GOOD SDK then you can also expect some
of the "oldies" on the forum to get the calc. Till then there is really no
advantage of this calculator over the AFX/FX Models.

Sorry if I ask but I don't know that model. Is it a pre version? since I read it only has a 800kB flash mem. (instead of 1.5 MB)
What does 'AU' mean? Or is it the same model like the fx-9860G SD?
This is a model unique to the australian students. The 1.5mb was considered too big for exam use so Casio came out with this smaller flash, AU model. function wise both G and AU are the same.

2. .G1R files are placed in the Main Memory, while .G1A files must be placed in the Store Memory. There is a button to switch between both memorys.
3. And next time, look at the last post's date! This topic was dead for 1 year!

1. Use FA-124 to transfer the games into your calculator.

If a G1A, you may need to optimize the memory to defrag the Flash. Go to MAIN MENU then select MEMORY (E). From there press F5 for OPT.

When you downloaded some of my games (casio patience or pool simulator) make sure you get the add-in versions, the basic versions are to slow to enjoy. add-in games are faster and more complex. At CasioKingdom i host my most complex game, CalcCity, a clone of simcity.

I am having troubles putting games on my 9860. The ones i have found are in .g1r format and fa-124 can not recognise them. WHAT DO I DO
hi
the glr files are image files
you must insert them to your fa-124 and then trasfer it to your calculator. ok?
in rigth window (computer) right click on computer and insert existing imag file!!!
that is all.

firstly, people appreciate if you do some research before you ask such a question. The easy way for you is the hard way for us.
But here you can find some tutorials on how to transfer to your calculator. On the site are a lot of games as well, you can find them under downloads. Most of them you can also find in the filesharing here.
If you cant open RAR files make sure you get a PROPPER program like winrar or zipgenius or 7zip or whatever.
Then if you can open them, drag the files to the CASIO folder on your computer. (If you are not sure which one is the right one, everything wich has the extension .g1* is a calculator file. After that just follow the tutorials.
Have fun!
(@ admin, if it is forbidden to advertise other websites, im sorry)
