Hi!

I have the wiki up and running. Feel free to edit it, but I will monitor it and if it gets abused I'll lock it.
Backups get made once in a while (at least I plan to) as volume allows ...

I would like to first see the documentation ported to the wiki since I don't have time and would rather spend this that I have on development.

I will incoperate all changes to the documentation in the wiki that appear during development.

I would also like to see things like a wishes page and so on!

So lets the party begin "Rock & Roll" as Ozzy would say ;)

http://84.16.238.71/wiki

btw. the ip will be replaced by mlc.casiocalc.org (if this is possible for 2072) later.
I just have a problem with the setup of this for now.

Any feedback, here AND there is welcome!

its the same as in wikipedia.

Just type the headding (name of the article) in the search box and search for it. It will report that an article with this headding has not been found together with a red link that has the name of the headding.

Click on this link and you can create the article. It is quite simple if you know how to do it ;)

You can also read the guides at mediawiki.org !

I tried to add a "command list" article, but it doesn't appear in red as you said. What have I to do ?

*Type "command list" under search
then there is "No page with this exact title exists, trying full text search."

YOu can click on "this exact title" and then you can edit the page...

would be nice if someone could help me keep the wiki clean.
Seems as if a bot is posting SPAM (porn)

I will update the wiki software and try to introduce captchas to prevent
this bot posts. The pages need to be removed / restored none the less.

Thanks for your help!

(Please log in if you correct things. This helps to identify the bot since it doesn't seem to register itsself but just posts random gay porn links on the pages. Most of the changes are only visible in the history however since they don't seem to show on the actual page what is possibly a bug in the wiki software and should be corrected by an update. Thanks for you patience!)

I think we should add a sumary on the main page, this would help to navigate on the Wiki.

The problem was the insane amount of vandalism. And since nobody participated I could not clean it up every day all alone.

See, no one even noticed that it is gone for nearly a year now ...
If you want you could always do a new one.

I just don't have the time and will to clean my wiki from penis enlargement ads every day. Sorry

Well, that sucks. Sorry for that huhn_m.

I'm thinking of getting an AFX soon, so MLC might interest me. If anyone is still interested in working with MLC, then I will host a wiki.

Here are some people interested in MLC 2. However, we are only some fans because of the advancement of the project. When tools that lead to real games will be implemented, there will be much more people with us.

OK, I got a Wiki set up and running. The link: http://casiowiki.techlab.info/HomePage

I hope the wiki is easy enough for everyone in the community to use. The software is called: WikkaWiki. Here's the documentation: http://wikkawiki.org...kaDocumentation. Also, here are some video tutorials: http://wikkawiki.org/WikkaInAction

I'm also hoping that this wiki doesn't have to be only for the MLC Project, but also so everyone can host their projects on the wiki. Anyone can start their own page on the wiki. To start a page, type in a name with this format, "WikiName", after the domain name: "http://casiowiki.techlab.info". For example: To start a page with a name like TestHere, type this into the browser address bar: http://casiowiki.techlab.info/TestHere. You need to be registered however to edit the wiki.

Well, let's see how the wiki goes...

OK, please disregard my previous post above. I have wiped off WikkaWiki and instead have installed the latest version of MediaWiki. If your familiar with using Wikipedia, then you'll be familiar with the wiki here. To learn how to use the wiki, please read here: http://www.mediawiki...i/Help:Contents.

Also, for those who don't know yet, CasioCalc wiki can be found here: http://casiowiki.techlab.info

I don't think much people are interested in MLC. I was planning to port it to the fx-9860 after I had written a grayscales library. However, I never find the time to do so...

Eh nice to see you again kucalc!!!
i think it would be a fine idea to adapt mlc to fx9860 even if there are not plenty of users. maybe by the time there will be more and more, since add ins on fx9860 are far more easier to use than on afx2. So people will try the game more easily...
