Hi, I have received a CASIO fx-83ES scientific calculator, and I can't multiply decimals. I do a simple decimal sum of 0.3 * 75 and it comes up with 45 over 2, then I checked my PC calculator and it's 22.5.
What is wrong with my calculator? Do I need to do something to it?
Thanks

Thank you, it works!
Also I have a different question, can I set the calculator so when I make a sum of 45+0 and I keep pressing = it shows the multiples of 45, how do I get that to work?

Type 45, EXE, +45, EXE, EXE, EXE .. that should do it.

Does anyone know of a way to make decimals show up by default instead of fractions? It's really annoying having to press the convert button every time.

If you use the divide key instead of the fraction key, it should automatically come up as a decimal.
