I'm Portuguese and I'm new to this forum. Congratulations for it. It seems to have lots and lots of useful information about Casio calculators.
But what made me create this topic was another reason. I have a Casio FX1.0+ ( ROM 1.03 ) and I used this forum's tutorial to try to convert it to a AFX. But I have can't even pass from the first part. I do exactly what the tutorial says but when I click Receive, nothing happens. I choose the path to save the file but when I go there, there is no file at all.
Can you identify the problem? I've tried a lot of times but with no success...
Thanks,
cyma_6mm
PS: Sorry for any English mistake (I'm Portuguese)

Is the calculator connected properly? Do you have set the right COM Port in Flash100?

are yu able to recive or send BASIC programs?

Yes, I was. Everything is well connected. I set the right Com port but I didn't use flash100. I used flashcom. Can you teach me how to use flash100 to convert the calculator to a fx2.0? Maybe it works if I use a different program...
Tnks.

You know, that you must go to the link menu and press RECEIVE to send a menu to the computer?

I've tried in different computers but still with no success...
I tried in 3 different computers, two with xp and one with windows 98. So it is not a computer problem, I think. Surely it has to do with the calculator.
But, thanks anyway for your help. All help is welcomed.
I remembered now a thing that can be important. To use the cable with Casio's FA-123 a have to install a patch over the file. Do I need to do something similar to be able to work with FlashCom?
Edit: I noticed now that I am also not able to install add-in files nor drives. This can be helpful to understand the problem...

If it works there you could try to initialze the calulator via the hidden menu. ( + F6' /> + when calc is off).
