You'll be better off bying an AFX or FX1.0,
that will give you much more value for money..
the only "better" thing on the cfx, is their colour screen.. which to my opinion is more of a con than a pro..

I heard they are a bit slower since 3 colors have to be redrawn. What is so bad about them?
Like K said, I already own an AFX (and a TI-89 and an HP-48gx) but I would still like to get a 9950gb+. Do any of you know where?

Sorry, can't help you with the shopping
but, to answer your quiestion:
The displays actually consist of 4 layers, one for each colour.
This makes it a bit blurry, and hard to look at
Contrast sucks, and the benifits of having colours like that aren't really that many

What's so wrong with collecting calcs? I myself own a TI-86, a TI-83, a CFX-9850GB Plus, a CFX-9850GB Plus L, and an AFX2.0
To answer the question though, I think Casio might have stopped making them. The only real advantage was the 64k memory, but other than that it was identical to the CFX-9850GB's. I've even looked on their website before with no luck (when I was still convinced the extra 32k would make a big difference
) If you find a source, let me know. For the right price I might be interested.....
