Hello people.

I'm in need of some serious help right now.

I just recently bought a fx-82TL. I see that it has the quadratic regression feature, however, my question is the following:

Is it possible to use this quadratic regression feature to solve quadratic equations?

I was thinking about the possibility of directly inserting the coefficients, so, for example, you input 1 for A, 7 for B and 12 for C, and when equaling y to 0 you would get the two values of x, -3 and -4.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Unfortunately the method you stated won't work.
You'll have to calculate it by hand or go buy something like the fx-95s.
