Hey!
I'm a newcomer on this forum from Norway,Europe,The World,a rock in the galaxy etc.etc...

On my school every student on my line has got computers(laptops) Thats great, but!

We have also got emulators. Full name: Fx-9860 Manager PLUS [Emulator mode] i think.. It says SD also on the calculator, whatever that means....

Now to my problem, I want to play games on it! How can I do that?
I want to play the games I have seen on this page(links), mario,tetris,yatzi and so on.
Can somebody or everybody help me ?

You have the fx-9860 Manager PLUS? Could you email me a copy? I'll PM you my email address. Once I receive it, I might be able to help you. By the way, SD is a feature on fx-9860SD calculators that give you more space by using a SD card.

Hello, Snabelking. It's nice to see someone else from Norway. I'm from Bergen

I got this calculator today, after my old CFX-9850GC+ died. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to transfer games and programs to it, both using an SD card and using just the cable and program that was in the box along with the calculator. Since I don't have your program, I obviously can't figure that out, though

EDIT1: If you put a *.g1m file on an SD card, you can copy it to main memory through the memory menu, then run it. I did this with the Yahtzee game in the Filesharing section.

EDIT2: I don't have any compatible files to test with, but if you have a *.g1r file, you can apparently open it in FA-124 and transfer it to the calculator from there. Press the leftmost button in the calculator window to connect the calculator.

Ok this is how its done...

I assumed you have downloaded a rar/zip file, extracted it and it's a g1r file.

Step 1: Run the emulator...
Step 2: Click these buttons in order - Menu -> "E" (on the keyboard) -> F3
Step 3: A dialoge box should open that asks for a file, navigate to the file(s) and click "Open"
Step 4: Press "1"
Step 5: Navigate back to Programs, or press "B"
Step 6: Navigate to the game and hit enter

Enjoy your game!

Note:
The emulator wipes it's memory everytime you close it, so you will have to do these steps over and over again. Unless someone knows of a way to get around it....
