Hi everyone !
Does anyone on this forum own the "new" programmable calculator CASIO FX-5800P ?
If yes, can someone tell me where he bought it, because I found it nowhere on the Internet (main online shops don't sell it yet), but on German sites... Does anyone know a site where I can buy it ?
Thx for responding ++

Hi,

I bought Casio FX-5800P at Casio of Hong Kong. The total cost of this order was $95; it included the calculator and shipping cost. The dealer did not charge sales tax. In order to buy it, you have to write an email, and there is an order form that you will need to fill out -- see the link below. So far, I like it because it has more functions than an average scientific calculator has.

Good luck!

Hi Thanh !
You seem to be Vietnamese, aren't you ?
So am I ! Thx for responding, I'll buy it on Javy tomorrow !

Just one question : Which language is used in the user's manual ? I can't read Chinese, and just a little bit of Japanese, I can speak French, English, Dutch, Vietnamese fluently (I'm European ^^)... hope they wrote it in English...

Hi Duy,

I am Vietnamese too, and I am living in the USA. Casio FX-5800P has included User's Guides in English and other languages. If you can read English, you will not have problems using the calculator. By the way, the price of my order is in USA Dollars. You can use the link below to figure out how much you need to pay in European Dollars when you received a quote from Casio of Hong Kong.

I see...
And... you already own a CP300, why do you want to buy '"new" programmable calculator CASIO FX-5800P'?

I own the FX-3650P too, and this is the calculator I use at the college. Up to now, graphic calculators are forbidden, so I have to use less powerful calculators, but the FX-3650P is quite limited, so when I saw the FX-5800P, I was really happy, and I would absolutely buy it. (the teachers actually don't know that those "small" calculators are programmable too, but I don't think this is "cheating")

And I'm in love with CASIO calculators lol (own the 9860G-SD, classpad, etc)

And these are all programmable calculators !

See ya :D

Hi Swoday,

You may want to consider CASIO FX-4800P too! It has less memories than CASIO FX-5800P has, but it looks nicer in my opinion. You can order CASIO FX-4800P at Casio of Hong Kong. Below are the information:
