Hi:

My sister has "Fx 2.0 Plus" & i usually use all of it's abilities @ university. now i want 2 bye one for myself. what's different between classpad & fx in operation ( surplus than Pen & 3D Graphs)?
Does all of abilities of FX 2 PLUS exist in Classpad ??! (e.g. unknown Integral )

Also i sow that my friends run some Engineering Program in TI-89 Titanium that they could draw Nyquist diagram, Solve steady State, draw electrical circuits  ,... . can Fx2 Plus or Classpad do like this :?:

In regard to indefinte ingeral or as u called 'unknown' both CP and TI do it but the TI's CAS is
better than CP in this field 4 example CP can't find this integral x^(0.5) / ( 1 + x^(1/3) ).

In fact CAS has been improved a great deal in OS 3.0 . I am wondering what OS you are using, because ClassPad OS 3.0 can find your indefinite integral "x^(0.5) / ( 1 + x^(1/3) )", and if you are searching a calc that performs numerical integration then the ClassPad is your best choice.

I have all these models Classpad 300 , FX 2 and TI 89 and 92plus

It depends what you want, FX 2 is obsolete hence no comparison.

I use TI 92plus(bigger screen and a separate keyboard but more bulky) a variation of TI 89, both have excellent software support, but a little dated. The Classpad 300 is more modern but lack software support out there.

If you find the software you need and use them constantly from TI89 then I will opt for this model.

TI have many many applications especially in electrical eng. field as i found and if u want i can
send those app. to u!

Thanks for your guidance, atlast i decide 2 buy Ti-89 for myself ( just for app & software for Electronic eng) & CP300 for my sister! ( She wants 2 change her Fx2  :!:  ).

Dear "Laith Shadeed", You make mi happy if send your TI apps for mi.
(Meanwhile app`s links for fx2 (if exists) : :plol: )

hi..
i have os 3 plz try this ingeral again! u can find it on CP only when u substitue x=z^6! u can't find it directly

I did it many times and ClassPad can solve this problem directly in real mode.

PLZ dont's buy FX2+ i think we can't compare it with CP or TI

On the jeuxcasio forum they were discussing that the afx does have at least one advantage over the cp:

the afx can solve polynomials with complex coefficients.

The topic was "?quation polynomiale avec coefficient complexe"

Is it only OS 3 that works ?

Hi dear ali;
Make sure what u want and what u need before u buy!
I'm a mechanical engineering student in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad,
here number of students have CP is really greater than who have TI,
so they can transmit their data and ... more easily than who have TI.
It help u when u have a quiz or exam very well!
