What does the "memory management" in System Add-in do?

I think it's a kind of disk defragmentation tool... but I'm not sure.

Actually this is a good question. Neither the menu entry and popup dialog give a very good description. This option does a garbage collection on flash memory. Think of it as a defrag for flash.
EDIT: Kilburn replied with the same answer at the exact same time as my reply. I then noticed that this was his 369th post and my 396th post. Freaky....

Yes, it's weak, but this is the most exciting thing I've seen on the forum for several days . Of course I'm refering to the ClassPad Forum only.

That sounds very similar to the Optimization function in the Memory menu for the fx-9860.
