I finally finished the new <{GNULINUX}> release.
Fixed:
Write FLash (I'm silly! I turned it of myself!)
Read
Write
Right Mannagement (~10%)
Prompt
Edit field
Login depends on File now
Format
Filename of ramdisk changed to make ramdisk first file in program list
(requested by BiTwhise)
Added:
Usermannager (UMM) for up to 29 users
Usergroups (up to 11 / 3 supported now)
Clickable labels
CHMOD (shows rights, will be improved to change rights!)
-> Bits: 0 = Unused (Reserved)
1 = Read only for root
2 = Write only for root
3 = Hidden
4 = System
5 = Read only for user & root
6 = Write only for user & root
7 = No write access at all (even not for root)
The groups are ADMIN / USER / GUEST. For them the rights will be given
according to the table above.
For the other groups (USER1->USER8) the writes can be set for each individually
the grous USER & USER1-USER8 have NOT the same rights! You may refer to user as
the DEFAULT USER and to other as OTHER USERS
In UMM you have to click on the sign in the lower left corner (or use the f1 button)
to store your changes AFTER EVERY USER YOU CHANGED!
To change something click on the small signe in the upper left corner of the property
you can't set the group now!
I'm glad to mention that Casioworld Lists my file (without me saying they should) and my site! Thank you a lot guys!

I've something to do! if you would like you could complete my font! It should be a complete ASCII font (from 1-255) but I'm not this good in drawing a 5x5 font :-) I can send you the bmp and you simply have to
draw the other chars. (i got up to 127) you get the format if you look at the chars already done.
It would be a great help!

and there is no TASM version & no FlashCOM for <{GNULINUX}> so I have to continue
till windows destroys all my sources and i have to start from scratch.
I would really like to use <{GNULINUX}>! (afterwards it seems unlogical That I used windows :-( )

I was on holidays for 4 days and will be on others next week. before I had a BIG biologie project
so there was little time for coding.
However I implemented grayscale in nearly every graphics command now and
am in progress of rewriting the whole thing because the whole code was quite a mess.
My only problem is the FONT. I didn't get it to work with the grayscale tools till now because
they use linear graphics and the font routine was written for column graphics.
I also had to write a BMP2ASM tool for linear mode. If anyone is interrested write a PM and
I'll send it.
I'll also upload it with the next update. Don't expect these before 2-3 weeks today!!
I hope there will be a upload utility till then so you can upload text you wrote on the PC.
I also have rewritten the hardware detection and the startup look. But since the font doesn't work till
now I can't say if all file operations work properly. The new <{GNULINUX}> releases will also be self installing (or so I hope) they will have only a ~2 KB file for setup wich will get all data necessary from the PC, compile
a new ROM-DISK (already done!) with all drivers needed and a directory structure on the ROM-DISK (a question: Which Explorers besidex DirXplorer can read directorys???).
You see I work but i've got other things to do as well but school is nearly finished for this year. No big tests any more so there will be a lot time for coding.
Bye huhn

self installing> it is possible ???

would ask you what to install. then the computer creates the romdisk (already done!) and transfers it
to the calc which overwrites the flash of the <{GNULINUX}> with the new system and then reboots itsself. (You shouldn't install <{GNULINUX}> with other programs on a flash drive then :-)).

I did think that you install <{GNULINUX}> directly on the reboot OF THE CALC lol !
So you reboot <{GNULINUX}> only

But for your program for update, you should allow user to take on it another files !
lol : why don't you create entirely an Operating System based on <{GNULINUX}> ? this will be great
