Does anyone have a copy of the OF-1 software for use with the FA-100 interface unit ?

OF-1 is mentioned in the manuals of some old calculator models such as the fx-7700GB.

------

Some info about FA-100:

The original Casio FA-100 interface was a separate box containing the electronics powered by 4 AA batteries. Travelling Software introduced the first cable to use embedded electronics powered from the serial port with no need for batteries, and this design has been used by most subsequent cables. However, there are two small problems with this design:

1. Serial ports were not intended to supply power to external electronics, and not all serial ports are able to supply enough current. Only the two pins RTS and DTR are available to supply power (at least on 9-pin connectors) and both of them together are usually required to supply enough current. Even that may not be sufficient with some serial ports, in which case a separate battery may be required to achieve reliable operation.
2. The settings of RTS and DTR to supply the correct voltage are non-standard, and different cable designs require different settings. Software designed to work with one cable may not work with another cable because of this.

I know this message is ten years old, but I just got a FA-100 out of curiosity for a few euros, and as this is one of the first results that come out on a DuckDuckGo search, I'm answering here.

I believe you're talking about SFD? It is the program that is given on 3½-inch and 5¼-inch floppies with the rest of the things in the box. Here are the files I could get out of them:

https://thomas.touhe...00_sfd.1440.img (3½-inch floppy disk image)

https://thomas.touhe...o/fa100_sfd.zip (files within it)

I don't have a reader for 5¼-inch floppy reader, I could get the image for the other floppy.
