I have a Casio fx-9860G SD, and I just bought a SD Memory Card (1 GB).
And I wonder how i can put files onto the memory card so I can open the files on my calc. Is it possible to use the memory card instead of the inbuild memory?

Hello Stanaboy and welcome to the UCF!
Does your PC have a memory card reader? To transfer files from your PC into the SD card you need a card reader for your PC.
You can put addins, text, eActivities, etc. onto the memory card. I believe then you can transfer files from the card to the storage memory and use them. Go to MEMORY in the MAIN MENU and take a look around. There should be a SD option.

Thanks for the harthly welcome!
Yes, my PC has a card reader, and I actually put your Text reading-program into it.
But is it possible to put programs and games designed for the Program-section, into the SD and run them on the calculator?
Because the Calc itself ha limited room for such...

Sorry, but the programs have to be on the calculator itself in order to run them.
But Text Reader allows you to read text files off the SD card.

But I suppose there isn't a way to convert G1R-files to G1A?
Or...?

I don't think that's possible. G1R and G1A's are completely different as they both have different purposes.
