Hello sorovince and welcome to the forum! :D

I don't own a fx-6300G, but I'll try to help you out. Make sure you are in RUN mode. Type in a number that you want to store. Press [->] for the storage operator. Then press ALPHA. Then press the letter for the variable you want. (Ex: [Ab/c] for A). Press <span class=EXE' />. That's for storing. To recall the number, press AC/on to clear the screen. Now press <span class=Alpha' /> again and press the same key after that to recall the letter. Press <span class=EXE' /> to have it display the value.

If it still doesn't work, try reseting the memory as it may be full. If that doesn't help either tell us.

it still doesn't work. i've tried reseting it and everything but the thing just doesn't seem to work. i've tried all the letters all the combinations with the alpha and that arrow and still nothing. and i bought the calculator like 2-3 weeks, I haven't used it that much but it would be really helpful if i could store the memory. anyways thanks for the reply

Hmmm, that's funny... Have you tried asking them (the people who sold you the calc)?

.... or you can try contacting CASIO. I highly doubt it though that anyone in CASIO would know how to operate a fx-6300G.

Hmmm...

Try removing both batteries and leave them out for a minute. Then, put them back in. Are the batteries still good?

Try the following procedure to determine the number of Memories and program Steps:

- Press the "MODE" key
- Press the [.] key
- Press the <span class=EXE' /> key

You should see something like this on the screen:
M-26 S-400

If you do not, then try this:

- Press the "MODE" key
- Press the [.] key
- Press the [0] key
- Press the <span class=EXE' /> key
- Repeat the procedure above

Now try storing a value in a variable again using kucalc's method.

I guess it is time for me to find me old fx-6300g calc.
