That's good, at least you don't have to send the program to the calculator for testing.
And how's the progress?

OOH OHH. i love hints like these. they keep me in suspense.I have big things planned out for you guys so just hold on...
I would start programming in MLC as soon as this is done. This way i dont need to keep downloading then to my calc to test them. god damn slow sync of fa-124 XD

But I'm back and I plan to go forward with MLC PC. I'm wandering, do any of you guys have experience programming with the Win32 API in C?

I suggest you learn to use Qt or some cross-platform and mature toolkit . Qt programs are written in C++. Qt is the toolkit used in GoogleEarth and in the Opera browser. The toolkti documentation is good, but you have to know C++.I want to learn the Win32 API, but my local shopping center doesn't have any books. The book store says they can special order books in though. Do any of you know the name of a good book. Also the author because I need the Book name and Author to special order it XD
Check out http://www.giuciao.com/books/ too.

Oi, I know it's a good idea having the MLC interpreter for Java, but you won't just start making it from scratch!Another good idea is writing a MLC interpreter in Java. It can then run on many systems and off the web. You don't have to worry about making it work on <{GNULINUX}>, Apples or Windows. That would be so cool. You don't have to download anything, you can test your MLC programs on the web meaning you can use it on anywhere where there is a PC like in your school or when you're away from home. OMG, I convinced myself to write it in Java now...
First things first! Finish what you have there!

Don't worry, I'll get it finished eventually, perhaps in a couple years, just kidding... or am I?... nah, just kidding...First things first! Finish what you have there!

UPDATE: Yeah, so I got some portions of MLC PC written. http://mlc-calc.svn....lc/MLCpc/trunk/ Hopefully, there is someone out there also who can continue on developing on it. The syntax parsing code works. The hardware dependent portions will have to be rewritten for Windows (ex: PIXL, GKEY, etc.)
