Long ago there was a small PC game that used some colors but not graphics, it was made by a portuguese guy and consisted in managing a football team bringing it up from league 4 up to major league.

I cannot exactly describe how addictive this game was! Hell me and some friends used to played it for real money

Anyway, it was a small game, and the author as moved on to other things, although there are current and much more advanced versions.

The point is: Can it be re-programmed for our casio? (i think so, not by me of course)

Are you all wandering what's this all about? go and download the game at:
http://www.angelfire.../elifootii.html

P.S.- try it out, and remember you can change the names of the teams/players to your local ones, since the author made it so that the program uses simple text files to store the teams and players names

I don't appreciate football managing games. However, why wouldn't it be able to exist on a CASIO? CasioC would do the trick here, since CasioBASIC can't handle with strings.

I have yet to try out the game. I'm sure I could help out with the programming. Someone else will have to do the graphics.

Ahum, its a text based game, there are no graphics.

I'm not even shure if the later versions did got any graphics.

The game was based on managing a soccer team, the only 'moving' thing there was the game time ;p

Ah, ok then. It shouldn't be bad then to remake it for the fx-9860. Sometime soon, I should get around to playing with the game myself.

I think that we could use the kingdom game source code to make it , they are very similar, we only have to do some changes

Actually, I don't think we should. We want to manage various strings in the game, and using CasioBASIC is no good for what we want.
You'll have to use CasioC.

This weekend, I should have time to work on this. If you can give me a overview on how the game works, that would be nice.
