I just purchased a Casio Fx-260 Solar and when I take the cover off and turn it on a error is displayed on the screen and I have to press clear. Sometimes it does it and sometimes is doesn't. Is this normal?

Hello jmedina and welcome to the UCF! :)

I don't know if it's normal, probably. Is it one of those old models?

Thanks! I know it is normal becuase a few years ago I had a all solar powered calculator and whenever I went out of light the screen had random numbers when I got back into light. Then I cleared it.

Ah, ok. So if it's normal, I guess it's weird then.
