On page 335 of the manual there is an example for figuring a mortgage payment.
25 years at 6.2% for 300,000
12 monthly installments
semiannual compounding C/Y = 2

I enter all the same numbers as their example but my calculator give me a payment of
-1945.30495

but the manual gets an answer of
-1955.228277

I looked this up because I used an online mortgage calculator and I was checking it against my calculator.

The error between the website may calculator was off by about a little less then 10 bucks.

what setting could cause this to be off?

My research seems to hint that it has to do with beggining of the month or end of the month payments.

I am not sure if this is the problem and even if this was the problem, I would not know how to fix it
any ideas?
