Hello all,

I am now experiencing a problem. All pixels in the screen of my calculator, FX-6300G, are turned on when I push the AC button. This problem happens while I am chaning battery. The new battery has correct voltage of 3V, but it is much thinner than the right battery. I admit that this can cause a shock in the electronic circuit. The price of the calculator is less than $20.00 and I have another scientific calculator. So it is okay that this problem is not solved. I have had this calculator about 10 years. So I just want to know if I can fix this. Thank you for reading this post.

Have a good day.

Have you tried to change the contrast by pressing MODE and the arrow left key?

I never tried adjusting a contrast, so I did not know that the calculator provides the function. Thank you Xerxes, I can see now the screen.

Bless you~~!

fx-6300 has problems with its screen contrast, seems to be a flaw in its OS.
When the batteries getting low, the screen is very fade till nearly blank.
Sometime is so dark that it look like all pixels are on when you've just replace batteries.
