Before when I entered, say, 45/8, I would get 5.625, but now I get the answer in fraction form and it just says 45/8 (which doesn't help at all). I know that I can use the S-D key to switch the answer from fraction to decimal form but I'd like to get it back to the way it was before where the answers is ALWAYS in decimal form.

Shift' /> [MODE] 
2' /> will give you 'line' output, which is what you want.Shift' /> [MODE] 
1' /> switches to 'Math' output mode, with fractions as default.Hope this helps.
