Hey , I have a problem with my damned FX 9860! Some of my E-activity notes are not showing in the E-activity list , however if i select New and type in the file name of the eactivity , i can view and edit the file with no problems which means the files are stil there. So basically the only problem i have is that Some of my e-activity notes are missing from the e-activity list .

I first encountered this when i tried to edit an E-activity file, It gave me an error saying that my memory is full and that i may not be able to edit certain files which i thought was weird as i only have a few notes on my calculator. anyways i went to memory and selected Optimize , after that everything was normal except for some files missing on the E-act list! :( :( Ive tried viewing these E - act documents on the F-124 program but it doesnt seem to work.

Oh yes, and when i edit the e -act files that are visible, they end up being invisible after editing them and theo nly way to view them is to manually type in the File name under the option "new"

I have tried optimizing , Turn off the calculator, changing batteries, nothing seems to work :(

Thanks! help is appreciated

Have you tried this:

1. Do a full backup of the calculator using the FA-124 software
2. Completely reset your calculator
3. Restore the backup from the FA-124 software

I did this after experiencing some odd behavior with my FX-9860G. It got things working normally.

I dont want to risk losing my e-act files , When its connected to FA 124 i can only see the e act files that are on my e act list. I was wondering whether there was a program that would backup every single piece of data from my calculator.

I think this FX9860 fileconverter can copy a flash-dump to your PC. As far as I understood, this dump will contain the complete storage memory.

No, not FA-124. It's the FX9860 fileconverter in the file sharing area.

Ok i got the program , now how do i use it ?

Function: FLASH->PC
Cable: USB

Select the USB cable on the calc, too.
Switch the FX9860G into receive state.
Now hit the START-button.

When the save-file-dialog appears, select a directory and enter a filename with the extension G1S.

@kucalc: Could you tell me the matching IPs, please. I'd like to check this out.

you both have the same isp so there is small chance that you got the same IP over a certain period of time if you don't have static addresses...

@2072: Take a look here: http://casiokingdom....p;p=11398#11398, I don't want to clutter this thread by reposting what I already said. I didn't just use the IP's to come to my conclusion. The time SimLo said he was going to vacation, MrTeatime pops up. When SimLo said he came back from vacation, the IP's then finally matched. Also, I suggest going to the Admin CP and look up the accounts FenderTremolo, MrTeatime and SimLo. Notice anything similar? Look at their email addresses and IP's.

ngjunho, don't worry, this has nothing to do with you.

Getting back to the topic, are you sure that all your eActivities have the g1e extension?

By the way, welcome to the UCF. :D

Ok i have the G1S file. what do i do now? Is there a program to view G1s files? apart from fa 124 and pFX9860G? i have tried copying all the files from the G1S extension into another calculator( same model) with no luck. weird thing about the G1S file i retrived from pFX9860G is that it only shows 2 e act files under FA 124

Yeah, go to SYSTEM, press <span class=F5' />, press <span class=F6' /> then press <span class=F2' /> to Initialize All.
