Hi,

I´m looking forward a program for solving systems of nonlinear equations. I know that for HP is avaliable a program like this, but I can´t find none for CASIO fx 9860G SD, and I don´t know how to solve my equations without a program for CASIO like this.

Thanks.

As the fx-9860G SD is a numeric calculator (not symbolic) so this task cannot be performed on the normal RUN.MATH mode. You would need symbolic manip to do this, which is why some HP calcs do it.

You couldnt make a program to do this either. It would require some advanced parsing to take the many different cases of input, but that is far beyond the scope of Casio-BASIC. You could use the SDK to make an addin to do this, but that would be cumbersome and not worth the effort.

I dont really think that there is a cure to this problem, unless you want to purchase a symbolic graphing calculator  .
