Okay, so I've been looking up all sorts of sights to download games for this calculator...half of them don't work, and the other half isn't for this kind of calculator. Does anybody know a legit sight to download games in .g1a, .g1l, .g1m, .g1e, or .g1n format?

Hi Ericale and welcome to the UCF :)

In the filesharing section of this website, there is a very extensive collection of games and programs for the fx-9860. They are all very well categorized and every game is clearly marked. You may, although I do NOT reccomend it, find some games (games only) at casiokingdom.org.

You may also be experiencing an invalid type error as the calculator has two memories, each of which are used for different purposes. To transfer your programs and games to the correct memory, then read a tutorial about tranferiing files to the calc using the FA-124 software.

Tell me if this works,
Regards,

I had found my way to the File sharing portion...and I downloaded a lot of the games, BUT when I go to use it them on the FA-124 program, it says the file is invalid, how can I get them to work?

Can you please tell me the file extensions of your downloaded games (g1a, g1r, etc)?

Thanks,

If the games are g1as or addins inside the rar, then you must click the pen and notebook on the FA-124 to transfer (after connecting).

If they are anything else, you must click on the Calculator icon before transferring.

All files must be extracted from RAR

Hello Ericale and welcome to the UCF! :D

You need to get what's inside the RAR file. To do so you need a program that will extract RAR files. You could use WinRAR: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm or 7-Zip: http://www.7-zip.org/
