Dear friends,

I need your help. I have changed the batteries of my calculator and I can hardly see the numbers in the screen, although I have pressed MODE and the right arrow the numbers can not be seen. Please could you be so kind to help me? But when I changed the batteries I first pressed reset and AC.

I would be very grateful if some one can help me.

Regards,

Joaquina :(

Hi joaquina and welcome to the UCF! :)

I am sorry to hear about your calculator. This usually happens to me when I try to replace the batteries on my calculator. You need to 1) Turn your calculator on, 2) Press the 'RESET' button on the back of your calc with a pen or other sharp point and then switch off and on again. Then you must press <span class=MENU' /> and Then use the <= and => keys. This should change the contrast. If it does not, then replace the batteries in your calc with some more new ones. Then go through the same procedure as above.

I am sorry to say that the display of some older calculators can be dimmed to a point of no restore. This is part of the aging process of any technology :(

Regards,
mintsmike
