I've searched this forum and haven't found my particular problem so I hope this is the right forum and that some kind soul will solve it for me.

I've had my fx9860 Slim, together with FA-124, for several months and have not been able to transfer any files from my PC to the calculator; in particular, eActivities. Connection is OK but the PC window stubbornly remains fixed on FA124, no amount of right/left clicking (single or double) will change it. In the PC window all the icons are grayed out except for the two rightmost icons.

The only folder under FA124 is Default (that I can't change)

I sometimes wish I'd bought the SD version at least file transfer would have been guaranteed.

Is there anybody out there who could suggest a solution to this problem?

Play with some of the icons, it is a REALLY bad UI I'm afraid :(

1 - Did you install the calculator's PC USB driver? The manual is very clear about this point.

2 - Put your files on an SD card. Transfer them to a friend's calc. Finally, transfer them from your friend's calc to your calc.

3 - If all else fails, sell it and buy the SD version of the calc.
