These are the differences between modes that I've found. [in OS2.00]
Math===Linear
1. history===replay
2. COPY (1-line only)===?
3. no CUT===CUT (only in linear pp1-18)
3. allows natural input===?
4. insert only===insert & overwrite allowed
5. DEL:backspace===?
6. LIST n[0]returns:
...........ERROR===SUB(column name)
7. OPTN
...........omits PICT, FMEM, CAPT===includes them
I think that covers them all. Can somebody point out the utility of having the two modes, or the reason for them.
Is there any way that the file in use in the STAT app can be identified other than by going into setup?
