Hello all,

Maybe you've already noticed; there are several things changed at CasioCorner.
First we've a new hosting and domainname: www.casiocorner.com.
Another change is the layout and website-system. We hope you guys will help us make the site more useful for casio-users by adding more articles, links, programs and games.
We're also trying to add more interactivity to the site, so if you have any ideas, please mail to info AT casiocorner.com.
The third and last change is the webmaster. Due the lack of time, Yuri and Wouter have to stop working on CasioCorner. I (and I hope you also) will thank them for the good work they've done for CC.
They've searched a new webmaster, and I'm the lucky guy who is going to continue CC. My full name is Ardjan van Nuland, on (almost) every site under nick Netforce, and I'm also living in the Netherlands.
I hope CasioCorner and I will be useful to the Casio-community and UCN, and I hope I will feel soon at home at UCF.

Greetz,
Ardjan (Netforce)

Thank you!
BTW, you can also add your own link by clicking on Links on the left, so you will go to the Links-section.
If you're arrived there you will find a link Add Link (under the search bar), so that you're able a link after you've clicked that link.
Hehe, a very long explanation for only two clicks!
:P

Yes, by making the new website I've had the meaning to make also sections for ams and afx.
I hope the community will submit articles and other asm- or afx-related stuff.

I'm in the process of making a BASIC tutorial that cover every thing you need to know to make a game in BASIC. you can put that on your site once its done.

Hey Netforce!

I think it's great with new webmaster on CC since the last one updated it too seldom.

I suggest that there should be added a beta-section in the games menu. Then people can post incomplete versions of their games, and other people can help to test/rate the games, and send suggestions and ideas to the author and help him making the game better. This will be like a demo archive!

Now thats a good idea... on the other hand thats almost what this forum is for, but they could co-exist. I personally would prefer that all the casio discussion was centrallized here rather than spreading it over many sites. although a place to host beta games is a good idea the disscusion should be here.

but thats just my opinion. :)

So why don't put CC and UCN together to one network, so when you register at one place you may accses both CC and UCN with the same profile. There could be a loggin box at CC's index page where you also can choose to get redirected straight to UCN when you press the button.

Just a suggestion...

its possible,but..err.. he is using phpnuke. And phpnuke and this board aren't the best of friends, lets just put it that way.. If you do want to intigrate them, then I will only do it one way, UCN DB backed. So that all the user info is in the ucnetwork forums db. I will not make this board feed off the phpnuke db.

yeah that would be a great addition to CC, and it would be very usefull for us, it will make testing each others programs and games easier.

Wow, great ideas everywhere!
CrimsonCasio; I'd like to see your tutorial in the future, good luck with it!
Technically it would be rather difficult to link CC and UCF to each other. In phpnuke there's a possibility to use forums, but they will be hosted on my hosting and they will be part of CC, so I don't think Simprobe will agree with this.
I think the beta-section is a very good idea. The discussion about the game will be here on UCF, and the hosting and rating of the game will take place on CC. Mail to info AT casiocorner.com if you want your (beta-)game to be published on CC. Please attach the .cat or .zip file (not the source!) and some information about yourself for in the author-list.

If you havent already done it, you should place a very prominint link to the UCF in your links section, also mabey in the beta section.

Bye the way, I am sending you the latest version of my basic RPG. (beta)

I will soon publish the other two schemes on the site.
CrimsonCasio; you've not attached your game to the email-message. And does your game have a title, or do I have to name it Basic RPG? :P
BTW; it is possible to add a photo and more information to the Author Profiles in the Download Authors list. Please mail to me if you want to add something.
