Hi! I'm a new user of CP330 and I'm not fed up with the programming language (well, I don't get on well with informatics in general).
I need to make a program able to calculate Colebrook's equation with entering one variable: the diameter or the Fanning factor.
I think I would made a program to calculate an equation, but how do I program to asking me for each variable?
I need it to iterate in problems,so sometimes I supose the diameter and calculate the f, and sometimes I supose the f and calculate D.
Could anybody help me, please?
Muy exam is aproaching and I'm getting axious.

Hi..
You wont need to program that. Put the colebrook formula right into the solver, and solve for the friction factor F (is that colebrook formula that you're talking about?)

Hello!
First of all: thank you very much for reply so quickly. And yes, I'm talking about that formula.
I know I could do it with Solve, but I must do it many times. Also I need the program for the exam, because I think I'm not able to remember the formula and I must show in paper the results I obtained in every step.
I've tried copying the Solve in a spreedsheet, but it takes me so much time, cause I can't operate with the result, I have to copy the result in other cell and then operate. It's not good.
I am involved in making the program to calculate the formula, the problem is that I don't how to programm with 2 entries: I mean that I want the program to ask me "What do you want to obtain D or F?" then enter the variable (for example D) an obtain F (in that example) using Colebrook. And repeat the operation with many values.
Can you help me? I would be really gratefull.
Thanks you in advance.
