Driver + FA124 for FX-9860 aren't compatible with Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) You must use Win XP or vista. You can use XP mode on Windows 7 to accomplish your connection/update with the calculator.

FYI, http://www.microsoft...c/download.aspx -> xp mode guide

I just loaded FA-124 and have the same problem. I'm running Vista X64 SP2. Must just be a X64 problem.

Hey

I Run Win Vista 64bit Home Premium, and Im having trouble installing FA-124
I ve been told that the issue is that my OS is 64bit and this is not supported by Casio
Is there any way around this ?(i tried compatibility mode already, does not work)

Hello

I have a Casio fx-9860GII and a Windows 7 Home Premium x64 and I'm trying to install FA124
This would be the second computer I would have this on because I've recently aquired this new computer. I found a way around the dead end with the installer but now when I try to connect in FA124 the error

"A connection could not be established.
Either the calculator is not connected or the connected calculator
is not in the data receive standby mode."

But neither of the above is true.

Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
