Dear friends,

Today my question is, what kind of communication protocoll is used through the (inter-calculators) jack.

Is it RS-232?

I must connect an oscilloscope to see it, but I need a few weeks.
It could be very useful to connect any other apparatus, and so, very useful for electronic hobbyists.

Thanks!!

hi,
the oscilloscope is not so helpful for analyzing protocols, a pc program like analyzer-232 may give you more insight analysis.
I'm not sure but the baud rate of the classpad is similar to fx-9860g (i.e, 38K). as a start you can monitor two calcs communicating together.
good luck.
