I'm a new member, but a long time 5800P user. I recently upgraded to the 9860GII. I may have took my old 5800P for granted, because I can't figure out how to store formulas in the 9860GII and recall them quickly to perform Solver on any variable I want. Maybe it's a stupid question, but is there a way to do this?

Any help appreciated.

you can use function memory. for example if we have below equation:

x^3+2x^2+3

and if we want evaluate mentioned equation for any value of x ; first you must

store top equation in one function memory see below:

[codebox]"x^3+2x^2+3" fn1[/codebox]

for input fn command hit below key:

OPTN\F6\F6\F3\F3(fn)

you have 20 function memory (fn1, fn2, ... , fn20)

for evaluate stored equation you must specify value of x ; for example see below:

[codebox]3  x[/codebox]

and then input fn1 again and hit EXE key

[codebox]fn1[/codebox]
