I first purchased this unit in Bali when I was on my honeymoon and have treasured it since. Now my kids are in secondary collecge and they are in need of a scientific calculator so I reluctantly gave them my FX-7700GB.

My eldest daughter came home last night stating that she could not enter in DMS on the 7700. I checked the manual which briefly shows how to do it but I can't get it to work. Can anyone tell me how to put in Degrees Minutes Seconds and then how to convert them to Degrees?

First, enter DMS menu
Shift' />[Graph](MATH) F4' />(DMS)

usage example:-

To convert 14° 15' 21" to degrees, key in
14 F1' /> 15 F4' /> 21 F4' /> EXE' />


To convert 36.48° to DMS, key in
36.48 EXE' />
press F2' />
